Is this personal advice?
No. The site gives general guidance on smart casual dress codes, outfits, and care, and it cannot account for your specific garment, venue, employer or context. Use it as a starting point and adjust for your own situation.

Site policy
What this site is, what it is not, and the honest disclosures about how it operates — written plainly, without fine print.
Our point of viewWHY WE ARE HERE
What this site is: an independent, educational publisher about smart casual dress. We do not offer personal styling, consulting, or any paid service, and no page is tailored to any individual reader. If a page sounds like advice aimed at you personally, that is a limit of the writing, not a service we provide.
What the guidance cannot do: it cannot see your wardrobe, your venue or your context. Dress expectations vary by employer, event, culture and climate, so our pages are starting points for your own judgement, not instructions. Where a general rule we publish disagrees with your garment's sewn-in care label or a stated dress policy, the label and the policy win.
Fit and care guidance is general by necessity. Fabrics, finishes and construction differ between makers, and two garments described the same way can behave differently. Always check the care label before washing, treating or storing a garment, and treat our care pages as background rather than a substitute for it.
No warranty: content on this site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work to keep pages accurate and current, and we correct mistakes when we find them, but we cannot guarantee that every detail suits every garment, venue or situation. Decisions you take based on the site remain yours.
Independence disclosure: this site currently carries no affiliate links, no sponsored content, no paid placements and no advertising of any kind. If that ever changes, the change will be disclosed here and clearly on the pages affected. We write what we think is useful — and at present there is no partner paying us to write otherwise.
Content rights and use: the articles, images and structure of this site are the property of its publisher unless otherwise credited, and you are welcome to read, link to and quote from them with attribution. Republishing substantial parts of the site, or presenting its content as your own, is not permitted. Brand, venue and company names appear only for identification and to make guidance concrete; no endorsement or affiliation is claimed or implied, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Corrections and changes: content may be corrected, updated or withdrawn as our guidance improves, without notice. Substantial corrections are logged on our editorial standards page. These terms may also be updated; the version on this page is the one in force.

A FEW THINGS WE BELIEVE
No. The site gives general guidance on smart casual dress codes, outfits, and care, and it cannot account for your specific garment, venue, employer or context. Use it as a starting point and adjust for your own situation.
No. There are no sponsored posts, no affiliate links, no paid placements, and no advertising of any kind. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page and on the affected pages themselves.
Rely on it as careful general guidance, not a guarantee: content is provided as-is and may be corrected or updated. For anything consequential, check your garment's care label and the venue's or employer's stated dress policy — those override any general rule we publish.
